Rev Francie is a 2010 graduate of the Ministerial and Religious Studies program at Unity Institute, Unity Village, MO. and was ordained as a minister June 17, 2010. Prior to seminary Rev Francie received her Licensed Unity Teacher certification and became a Certified Spiritual Educator. With a Bachelors degree in Religious Studies, Rev. Francie has carried the importance of ministry through her education. Her background in ministry includes 16 years as a teacher and Director of Youth Education. As such she has created and facilitated volunteer trainings not only for youth church, but for volunteer programs for ministry. Her passion for Youth Ministry has led her to write curriculum for youth church and for Unity World Wide Ministries (the Association of Unity Churches International). Rev Francie and her husband Rev Warren Potter are Co-Ministers at Unity Church of Rockdale in Conyers, Georgia. Rev Francie has always found value in community and coordinating multi-generational activities. She has served on boards and in various volunteer positions with numerous non-profit groups such as the Junior League of Wichita, Kansas Children’s Service League, United Way, and currently with Kiwanis. Rev Francie was the Director of Fund Development and Editor of publications for Junior League of Wichita, KS. While serving in the position of Director of Fund Development, she wrote grants, interviewed prospective projects, organized volunteers, and designed and implemented a three-year reading program for the Wichita, KS Public School system. The true essence of this experience is evident in her leadership skills. Twenty-five years as a business owner, manager, and employer, Rev Francie knows how to work hard, set goals, and achieve success while motivating people to work as a team. She has been a mentor, teacher, received honors, and inspired others to rise to their highest good. Rev Francie is optimistic, positive, and is willing to share these positive traits with others. Rev. Francie’s Mission statement is: I live in Truth, express openly what I believe, respect and serve others from a place of understanding while making a difference in my life, in others lives, and in the world. Rev. Francie’s Vision statement is: To express kindness and love through service to others, my community, and the world while living a balanced, Christ centered life.
